Care Instructions

Your metal art is crafted from premium 16-gauge steel with a durable powder-coated finish, designed to showcase your dog's breed and name for years to come, indoors or out. With minimal care, your piece will stay vibrant and rust-free.

General Care

• Wipe down with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth to remove dust and dirt
• For tougher marks, use a mild soap and water solution, then dry thoroughly with a clean cloth
• Avoid abrasive sponges, steel wool, or harsh chemical cleaners, as these can damage the powder-coated finish

Indoor Display

• Keep away from direct contact with moisture-heavy areas (e.g. steam from showers) for prolonged periods to maintain the finish's longevity
• Dust regularly with a dry cloth to keep colours looking fresh

Outdoor Display

• The powder coating is designed to resist rust, corrosion, and weathering, making it ideal for patios, porches, and outdoor walls
• For best longevity, avoid placing in areas with constant direct exposure to sprinklers or standing water
• Rinse occasionally with clean water to remove dirt, salt air, or pollen buildup, then dry with a cloth
• With extended exposure to direct sunlight over time, slight fading may occur — this is normal for any outdoor powder-coated product and doesn't affect the durability of your piece

Mounting & Handling

• Handle with care when unboxing and mounting — corners and edges may be sharp
• Use appropriate wall anchors and screws suited to your wall type and the size of your piece
• Ensure your piece is mounted securely and is level before letting go

Optional: Magnetic Mounting Kit

For a clean, hardware-free look, we offer a Magnetic Mounting Kit as an add-on. Simply screw the included magnets into your wall at your desired spots, then place your sign on top — the magnets stay completely hidden behind your art for a sleek, professional finish.

Each kit includes 2 high-powered magnets (0.75″ diameter, 0.25″ thick) and 2 screws (1.5″ long) — no additional materials needed.

Recommended quantities:

• 1 kit (2 magnets) for signs up to 18″
• 2 kits (4 magnets) for signs up to 30″
• 3 kits (6 magnets) for signs larger than 30″

Caution: these are high-powered magnets. Once separated, keep them apart from each other and from metal surfaces — impact between magnets can cause damage.
